Job Creation

Through its activities like Computer lessons, Music classes, theater and drama classes and tailoring, CDJ periodically enrolls youths who have not had a chance to attend formal education. This equips them with vocational skills which make them job creators than job seekers. Thus, generating income to the youth.

Ecological impact

From the one of the Charism of the Society of Missionaries of Africa, of Justice and Peace and Integrity of Creation, the CDJ has as one of its activities, to protect the environment through ecological sessions and then broad tree planting in Mahagi.

REFugee Camp outreach and apostolate

The CDJ with its value of feeding the hungry and clothing the naked, has so far visited Internally Displaced People in two camps. Namely: Luga and Sii. The food materials and clothes taken to these people are got from people of good will who give donations to the CDJ in view of doing visits to the Camps. This helps the youth to be in companionship with the suffering internally displaced people.

Justice and Peace: Interrelious dialogue

Inspired by the Missionaries’ of Africa charism of Justice and Peace and Interreligious, the CDJ has taken this as an annual event where youths form different religious denominations accompanied by their religious leaders come together to pray for peace and unity in RD Congo. It is also an opportunity to implant the seeds of peace and unity through different talks.
